Help build and maintain your local trails!!!


When: Third Saturday of the month at 9am (unless otherwise posted).
             The next trail work day is on November 15th, 2014.

What: This month we will be meeting at the Marina REI for the IMBA Trail Care Crew Trail building school 9am to Noon.
The trail building class will be followed by lunch (provided) and then we will head to the Fort Ord National Monument at 1 PM to build a new route for Trail 19 (by Comanche's Grave).
Trail building will wrap up around 5 PM.

You must sign up for this class in advance.

             NOTE2: We work rain or shine!!.

Where: REI, 145 General Stilwell Dr, Marina, CA
             We'll car-pool to the trail work area from here.

Wear closed toe work shoes or boots, long pants and a long sleeveed shirt.
A hat, gloves and eye protection is recommended along with water a snack and sun screen.

Tools will be provided but quantities are limited so bring em if you got em (McLeod, Shovel, Pick Mattox loppers, folding saw etc.)

Leave your bike at home, this is a work day and we'll be driving to the work site unless otherwise posted.

The MORCA Trail Work Days are organized to help maintain and build local trails in Monterey County.

Trail Crews will be led by an experienced trail work leader.

Be sure to check the MORCA Google Group and website and facebook page for status updates.

The Waiver from the MORCA website must be signed, dated and given to the trail work leader before the start of trail work.

Please show up at the designated meeting place approximately 15 minutes before start time. Remember, there will be donuts!!
