Night Ride Routes
MORCA Night Ride Course "A" Ride Group
Starting from the trailhead/access to the BLM properties at 8th Avenue and Gigling road, enter to the ESCA/FORA land by way of the paved 8th Avenue to the paved Parker Flats Road. Enter BLM property at the dirt Watkins Spur Road and continue on to the dirt Watkins Gate Road until the road intersects with trail (T) 67. Proceed “up” T67 for less than 50 feet and turn left onto T69. Proceed on T69 to intersection at T59; head up T59 to paved Henneken’s Ranch road.
Follow paved road up to intersection at T68. Take T68 up to the top at T67, left on T67 to dirt Machine Gun Flats Road, to the top of Little Moab area by way of T94. From the top of the Little Moab area take loop of T92 and return to intersection at the top T94. From the Little Moab intersection use dirt road heading east to T95 and descend to dirt Machine Gun Flats Road. Follow dirt Machine Gun Flats Road towards paved Henneken’s Ranch Road, cross paved Henneken’s Ranch Road and continue on dirt East Machine Gun Flats Road to paved Barloy Canyon Road.
Proceed south on paved Barloy Canyon Road to intersection of dirt Sandstone Ridge Road. Proceed on dirt Sandstone Ridge Road to intersection of T60. Descend T60, cross to dirt Crescent Bluff Road to T82. Ascend T82 to T85. Proceed on T85 to T84 to T80 and descend dirt Lookout Ridge Road to paved Jack’s Road, cross paved Jack’s Road to ascend dirt Lookout Ridge Road to intersection of T49. Descend T49 to the north to paved Eucalyptus Road; cross, and ascend T50 to the intersection of paved Barloy Canyon road.
On paved Barloy Canyon road head to intersection of dirt East Machine Gun Flats Road and head west towards paved Henneken’s Ranch Road, cross paved road and continue west on dirt Machine Gun Flats Road. Ascend T95 to dirt road at top of Little Moab area; descend T92 to T93 to T91 towards paved Parker Flats Road.
Continue on paved Parker Flats Road to intersection of T70. Follow T70 to intersection of dirt road that is not named on the BLM map and follow this dirt road that eventually intersects/becomes dirt Watkins Gate Road to the northwest to the intersection of dirt Watkins Spur Road. Take dirt Watkins Spur Road to the paved Parker Flats Road to the paved 8th Avenue and return to the trailhead/access to the BLM properties at 8th Avenue and Gigling Road.

The following additions have been made to the allowable night ride trailset. The segment of Lookout Ridge Road between Trail 49 and Trail 50, and the segment of Watkins Gate Dirt Road between Trail 70 and Trail 91 intersection. Caution- Please be careful on the Lookout Ridge Road segment - there are some fairly severe ruts that could be difficult to see at night. This section is recommended for "A" level riders. If in doubt, walk your bike.

Starting from the trailhead/access to the BLM properties at 8th Avenue and Gigling road, enter to the ESCA/FOR A land by way of the paved 8th Avenue to the paved Parker Flats Road. Enter BLM property at the dirt Watkins Spur Road and continue on to the dirt Watkins Gate Road until the road intersects with trail (T) 67. Proceed “up” T67 for less than 50 feet and turn left onto T69. Proceed on T69 to intersection at T59; head up T59 to paved Henneken’s Ranch road.
Follow paved road up to intersection at T68. Take T68 up to the top at T67, left on T67 to dirt Machine Gun Flats Road, to the top of Little Moab area by way of T94. From the Little Moab area use dirtroad heading east to T95 and descend to dirt Machine Gun Flats Road. Follow dirt Machine Gun Flats Road towards paved Henneken’s Ranch Road, cross paved Henneken’s Ranch Road and continue on dirt East machine Gun Flats Road to paved Barloy Canyon Road.
Proceed south on paved Barloy Canyon Road to T50. Descend T50, cross paved Eucalyptus Road and ascend T50 to the intersection of T50 and dirt Barloy Spur Road. This is the termination of the “outward” direction of the course. Return to 8th Avenue and Gigling road by reversing course.

Ascend T95 to dirt road at top of Little Moab area; descend T92 to T93 to T91 towards paved Parker Flats Road.
