Another great day for the Beginners Ride.

Joining the group today was Mary (well she's really a sandbagger!), Deanna, Nicky, Dana and Susan, with support from MORCANs, Mort, Greg, and Chris, and a brief guest appearance from Chris M.

We set off along happy trails, crossing the road at Jerry Smith Corridor into the BLM trails because of interference from those racy riders doing the CCCX thingee. Took a nice trail up to the water tower, and back down to Trail 14. Along 14 to Addington Road, and over part of Trail 20, cutting through 52, and 18 to 69. An out and back along 69 was really well received. Then headed back to Jerry Smith Corridor to show the Beginners the Trail Head.

Went over to watch the CCCX race, cheering on the MORCA members who were participating, including Lisa "Incognito" Rike, entering her first race. :-)

All participants had a good time, and expressed the desire to return, as well as perhaps join us on other MORCA rides.

This week we ride from 8th and G. We ride at 6pm so show up a little early with your paypal receipt in hand and lights on your head and handlebars. You might want an extra layer as it looks to be chilly (again).
